this is a f***in piss off on all levels ... we should get on the streets... This is unbelievable disregard for basic rights... not to mention sneaky....Im sure a bunch of panty wearing sissies are behind this latest crap.... What say we all group together outside the SAAQ building... I am thinking next Wednesday 9:00 AM...May 6th. Make sure you get every possible RHD vehicle you know of, friends, relatives.... the more the better...

you guys can talk all you want, but id say a RHD is not as safe for Canadian roads as an LHD is, or for any LHD country for that matter.... ive driven RHD cars in RHD and LHD cars in LHD countries for years and now I drive a RHD in Canada, and Id go on record to say that overtaking and making left turns are major nightmares. I dont care so much about overtaking since I hardly drive on country roads ( besides, you can always choose to not overtake ) .... but taking a left turn is a pain in the ass. its really risky to say the least, especially when there is someone in the opposite lane waiting to take a left turn in which case your vision is completely blocked and there is no way in hell to tell if there are any vehicles on the opposite lane. Canada is quite rudimentary when it comes to turn signals - you find them at major intersections in major cities as opposed to the US where almost every intersection has turn signals....

Anyone who claims that a RHD is safer than an LHD in Canada clearly needs to get their heads examined. This is coming from a person who drives an RHD. I understand you guys are passionate about real cars, and so am I, but keep it honest...

the fight is still on.... we still hold position in most places.... we've lost Quebec. Ontario is possibly next, with the change in their insurance policies. BC - the original culprit for publishing the flawed report... or it could be Manitoba with all their roadside inspections these days ....
